A three day epic snow mobile safari across frozen fjords, between mountains and icebergs, and taking you miles away from all civilisation. Enjoy an amazing sense of freedom as you drive across one gigantic, white glacier after another. You end-destination are the enormous icebergs on the east coast....but keep your eyes open as this is polar bear country.

Day 1

After breakfast in Longyearbyen, you pack up and begin by heading west towards Barentsburg, where you check in to a local hotel before heading out for an afternoon blast. The guides will take in to consideration the weather and snow conditions when planning this afternoons' excursion, but commonly you head towards the glaciers in the inner part of Grønfjorden.

Day 2

After breakfast it's time to pack again and set off south, towards the spectacular Fridtjov Glacier and Van Mijenfjorden. You drive along the fjord to the wide valley Reindalen and then onwards to the cosy Expedition Lodge in Brentskaret. Your tour leader will serve lunch en route, and dinner will be prepared in the evening when you arrive at the lodge.

Day 3

Weather permitting you’ll finish our safari with an expedition to the remote east coast of Spitsbergen. The feeling of freedom you experience when driving across the vast glacier plateau is truly unforgettable and if you are lucky, polar bears can be seen on the pack ice. Return to Longyearbyen in the late afternoon.
