How to Book

We don’t believe in off-the-shelf packages - we tailor-make holidays.

  • Tell us what you want to do. Whether you have detailed plans or just a vague idea, get in contact – we have knowledge, ideas and expertise.
  • We build a tailored itinerary. Once you’ve received it, we can answer any further questions and refine it until you are completely happy.
  • Book it. When you are satisfied with all the arrangements, we ask you to complete a booking form and pay a deposit, at which point we start confirming everything.

Different Snow is a fully bonded tour operator, which means we automatically take responsibility for your whole holiday, offering you 100% financial security.

The first decision you face is whether to base yourself down in Santiago and then day-trip up to the 'Tres Valles' each day. Get up early, choose one of the resorts to head to, spend the day skiing and then head back down to the city each night. Long days, but good days.

The second option is to stay in one of Valle Nevado’s hotels or apartments. The setting is spectacular, because the hotel area sits on a ridge perched above two valleys. However, staying at the Valle Nevado lodging is not for the budget conscious, though all the packages are half board, which includes lift tickets, breakfast, dinner and various other inclusions. We have to work around some inflexibility when it comes to arrival days and length of stay.

Finally there is La Parva, where there are hundreds of condos and houses within the quaint European style village, many of which are ski-in ski-out or very close to it. Here there are no options for people travelling solo or as couples and there are definitely no budget options. Beyond the fancy condo’s – only a handful of which are made available for hire midweek – accommodation options are limited to non-existent.
