Hotel Manoir Atkinson is a colourful, family-run guesthouse which has been painstakingly restored to its former glory. nly a stroll away from a historic funicular railway, the hotel retains the traditional character of the original house and boasts wonderful panoramic views over the city from its roof top terrace. The lounge and lobby are brimming with antiques and period décor while soft furnishings create a warm and homely atmosphere.
There are seven cosy rooms, each individually styled, including one suite. Two rooms, “L’Histoire d’Antan” and “La Mille Collines” share a verandah while the suite is more spacious with its own private terrace. There is no restaurant though there are countless options in easy reach. Upstairs, guests gather each evening on the wonderful roof-top terrace to admire the views with a glass of wine.
On Paseo Atkinson, one of Valparaiso’s most famous walkways on the top of Cerro Concepcion. Surrounding are plenty of cafés, bars and restaurants.
