Duration: 12 days

Niseko has it all – a large ski area, varied terrain, endless backcountry to explore and a lively nightlife scene. Make yourself comfortable and just base yourself here for a week! Simple. Apart, that is, for several nights in Tokyo – the one city you must see, sorry...experience, in this lifetime. Whilst still up on Hokkaido, this itinerary also includes two nights at Moku No Sho, one of the best ryokans we have ever been fortunate enough to stay in. Kaiseki dinners and beautiful onsens await.

Day 1

Arrive in Sapporo Chitose Airport and transfer up to Niseko. Spend the rest of the day settling in to your accommodation in Hirafu, Niseko Village or Annupuri.

Days 2 - 7

Skiing on the linked-resorts of Niseko United. We have a range of activities on offer, both on and and off the mountain. At least one day you should head to nearby Rusutsu.

Days 8 & 9

Quick transfer down the road to a very special ryokan - Moku No Sho - not far from Niseko. Check in and spend the nights relaxing in the natural hot springs and fine dining Japanese-style. Spend the day skiing in Moiwa, the fifth Niseko mountain just down the road.

Day10

Transfer back to Sapporo Chitose Airport and flight down to Honshu Island. Transfer in to Tokyo, where you check in to your central hotel. Explore the world's most exciting city by night.

Days 11 & 12

Spend two days exploring Tokyo -  put your  new-found Japanese language skills to the test sightseeing and buying souvenirs. We have many ideas,  including excursions and also have developed some trip nights to help you explore by yourself.

Day 13

Head to Tokyo Narita or Haneda Airport for your flights home.

Obviously, cost depends on which accommodation you choose, how many excursions and activities you want to book, whether you wish to include ski hire and lift passes…etc. An indicative lead-in price for this 12-night itinerary would be circa £1,450 (¥234,000) per person, based on decent accommodation (low season) in Niseko, Moku No Sho ryokan, transfers & lift passes.

Different Snow can also include flights from your home country, be it the UK or elsewhere. By keeping it all within one package, your arrangements are protected.
