From outside, Tamo boasts premium contemporary architecture. Indoors, the use of light ash ‘Tamo’ timber, balances elegant Japanese design features and western interiors. There are two separate living areas; one rather communal with the TV, the other more elegant with tatami mats and plush sofas. These both flow either side of the open plan kitchen, featuring a central island bench which then extends to become the dining table. Stools all around - how very contemporary! Two lucky guests get a Japanese timber bath, ensuite to one of the five bedrooms.

Views of Mount Yotei and outlooks to the magical snow laden silver birch forest are notable from most of the rooms.
