Shodo is a form of calligraphy or the artistic writing of  Japanese language, which is also very much influenced around Zen thought. For any particular piece of paper, the calligrapher has but one chance to create beauty with the brush – strokes cannot be corrected and a lack of confidence will show up in the work. 

The etiquette of the Tea Ceremony - its rituals, history and preparation explained. Be shown and practice various aspects of the ceremony using traditional green tea (Maccha). 

Learn some basic beats and gain a deeper understanding of Taiko drumming - which blends martial arts and the skills of drumming all together!
