Base elevation: 260 metres

Top elevation: 1,200 metres

Number of lifts: 25

Number of runs: 40

Access: Fly to Sapporo Chitose Airport, direct from Hong Kong or via Tokyo or Osaka for everyone else. From the airport it is a two to three hour coach transfer to Niseko. We can organise private transfers also and then there is the option of rail - notably longer and more complicated but fun!

Different Snow can include transfers, equipment hire, ski school, guiding, backcountry tours, activities, excursions, onsen visits and food hampers in your package. The price you pay will at best be cheaper, at worst be the same, as what you would pay locally. In Niseko, it is wise to have everything booked in advance; it's a popular resort and availability is often a problem.

There are several base areas, so we select the supplier depending on where your accommodation is located. Most people choose to stay in Hirafu village, where there is the greatest choice.

We can also make restaurant reservations for you, which are essential during peak periods. Different Snow have created a 'Niseko Dining Guide', as well as a 'Onsen Guide'- call us and we'll happily send you copies.

The Niseko United all-mountain ski pass covers all four resorts. Moiwa, an adjacent resort linked by shuttle bus, is not included - a separate lift pass is required if you chose to pop over on a powder day.

We include night skiing until 9pm on all lift passes.

There is a 1,000 yen lift pass deposit included in the below prices, this will be immediately refunded when you return the pass to one of the ticket machines at the end of your stay.

Children are from 7-12 yrs, youths from 13-15 yrs and seniors are 60 and over. Other than that, you are an adult ... unless you're under 7 yrs ... you ski for free!

We know the best backcountry guides in Niseko. By 'best' we mean ... knowledgeable, most safety-conscious and experienced. These guys live for getting out in to the back bowls and scaling the peaks. Let us know your level of interest, your ability and your experience and we'll hire the right kit (if required), set you up with the right guide and let you get on with it. Take a look at some of our backcountry tours here, or we can tailor-make something just for you.

If you want a ski guide to show you around the linked resorts of Grand Hirafu, Niseko Village, Hanazono and Annupuri or nearby Moiwa, then this is also no problem. Just let us know.
