    Tōshō-gū Shrine in Nikko

A group tour to Nikko - most famous for Toshogu, Japan's most lavishly decorated shrine and the mausoleum of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate. It's a long day - 11 hours - but you'll get to see World Heritage-registered Tōshō-gū Shrine, Tamozawa Imperial Villa, and the beautiful Kirifuri Falls.

The tour departs Tokyo at 8.30am, with a pick-up from your hotel, and drops you back in either Shinjuku or Ginza in the early evening.
