One of Queenstown's longest-established and characterful small boutique hotels, with an indefinable European charm. With only ten rooms which all overlook a small courtyard, all en suite and with French doors to Juliet balconies. Beyond the courtyard are the mountains and lake. Each and every room contains high-quality home furnishings - nothing 'chain' about this place - and you have a choice of super king-sized or twin beds, with stylish Maltese bedspreads. The rooms also include TV’s, DVD players, telephone and wireless internet as well as coffee / tea making facilities.
The central guest lounge has an open fire - we’ve found this to be a rather communal place and made several friends for life here. This is all over-seen by your hosts Donald and Gillian, fine practitioners of that fabled Kiwi hospitality. There is also a heated storage and drying room available. What the hotels doesn’t have is a restaurant or bar (though a cooked or continental breakfast is included) – however, you are spoiled for choice for places to eat and drink in most directions surrounding hotel.
It is ideally located in the heart of Queenstown in a quiet street only two minutes walk to shops and Queenstown’s extraordinary nightlife.
