Bariloche, Buenos Aires & Iguazú Falls

Duration: two weeks

We've centred this itinerary around Bariloche / Cerro Catedral, but we could equally focus on either one of the other two Patagonian ski resorts we feature – Villa La Angostura / Cerro Bayo or San Martin de los Andes / Cerro Chapelco. The only difference would be transferring you from Bariloche airport to the respective ski town, perhaps using self-drive if heading north to San Martin de los Andes.

Beyond the skiing we've included the two main highlights of Argentina; it's capital and the waterfalls. The order in which these sites are visited can be swapped around easily – you could do the city break and Iguazú before you head to the mountains. No problem – everything we do is tailor-made around your preferences, requirements and budget.

Day 1

Arrive in Buenos Aires and transfer to a central hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Transfer to the airport and fly from Buenos Aires to Bariloche. You are met at the airport and taken to your accommodation in either Cerro Catedral, beside Nahuel Huapi Lake or down in Bariloche itself.  Alternatively, you could head up to  Villa La Angostura, to ski on Cerro Bayo.

Days 3-8

A full week's skiing on either Cerro Catedral and/or Cerro Bayo.

Day 9

Transfer to the airport. Fly to Iguazú Falls and transfer to your accommodation.

Day 10

Full day on the Argentinean side of the Falls.

Day 11

Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires, stopping en route to visit the Brazilian side of Iguazú Falls. Transfer from the airport to your hotel in central Buenos Aires.

Days 12-13

Two full days to explore the capital. You could make your own way around the city or Different Snow could organise a city tour, to include the most famous sites including La Boca and Recoleta.

Day 14

Transfer to the airport for your flights home from Argentina.

It all depends quite how much luxury you feel you need (or deserve!) and prices can vary hugely depending on the accommodation selected. As a guide, prices for this itinerary would begin at circa £1,895 per person, which would include accommodation, ski passes, domestic flights, transfers and excursions as featured in the day-by-day itinerary.

This indicative cost does not include international flights from the UK or elsewhere, which Different Snow can also arrange for you. By keeping it all within one package, all your travel arrangements are protected i.e. Different Snow would be responsible for the operation of the entire tailor-made package. If you buy your flights separately, that’s no problem but it then becomes your responsibility to get to and from Argentina at the appointed hour. Different Snow have access to excellent fares on most airlines, at least as good as those you’ll find on the internet.
