Las Leñas, Buenos Aires & Iguazú Falls

Duration: two weeks

A full week's skiing or boarding in Las Leñas – Saturday to Saturday. The remainder of the time is divided between the waterfalls and rainforest up at Iguazú and then several days in Buenos Aires, our favourite South American city.

You could easily play with the order – do your sightseeing first and then head to the ski slopes of Las Leñas? No problem. Head straight to Iguazú Falls and then spend time in the capital at the end? Equally possible. The only limitation is that the week in Las Leñas needs to be Saturday to Saturday, to fit in with the charter flights and hotel packages.

As is always the case with Different Snow, this itinerary is a suggestion only. We can tailor-make the arrangements to suit your preferences, requirements and budget.

Day 1

Arrive in Buenos Aires (EZE) and transfer to an airport in the city, convenient for the domestic airport. Settle in for a night in the capital – this is likely to be a Friday night.

Day 2

Transfer to Jorge Newbery Airport (Buenos Aires) and fly by charter flight to Malargue. Transfer to Las Leñas and settle in to your hotel.

Days 3-8

Six days' skiing or boarding in Las Leñas. Lift pass, ski hire (if needed) and breakfasts are included in the package.

Day 9

Transfer back to Malargue for your flight back to Buenos Aires. Transfer through Jorge Newbury Airport and fly up to Puerto Iguazú. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 10

Explore the Argentine side of the Iguazú Falls.

Day 11

Transfer back to the local airport, stopping en route to visit the Brazilian side of the Iguazú Falls. Fly back to Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel.

Day 12-13

Two full days to enjoy the capital, based from a central hotel. For one of the days you could book a city tour with us, taking you to Buenos Aires' most famous sites including La Boca and Recoleta.

Day 14

Transfer to the airport for your flights home.

It all depends quite how much luxury you feel you need (or deserve!) and prices can vary hugely depending on the accommodation selected. As a guide, prices for this itinerary would begin at circa £1,895 per person, which would include accommodation, ski passes, domestic flights, transfers and excursions as featured in the day-by-day itinerary.

This indicative cost does not include international flights from the UK or elsewhere, which Different Snow can also arrange for you. By keeping it all within one package, all your travel arrangements are protected i.e. Different Snow would be responsible for the operation of the entire tailor-made package. If you buy your flights separately, that’s no problem but it then becomes your responsibility to get to and from Argentina at the appointed hour. Different Snow have access to excellent fares on most airlines, at least as good as those you’ll find on the internet.
