The Ultimate Argentina Ski Safari

Duration: two weeks

Okay – so it's a ski holiday. You will probably only come to Argentina once to ski (or board), so let's do the best of the best in one itinerary. Of course we can play with the order, but we'll dedicate a full week to Las Leñas and we'll also spend time down in the Patagonian Lake District, skiing in either Cerro Catedral (on-piste) or Cerro Bayo (off-piste).

Non-ski days include time in Mendoza – where the colonial architecture and local wines easily hold your interest – and you can always extend to spend more time in Buenos Aires.

Day 1

Arrive in Buenos Aires and transfer to your central hotel. Overnight in the capital.

Day 2

Fly south to Bariloche and then transfer to your ski resort – be it Cerro Catedral, Cerro Bayo or even north to Cerro Chapelco.

Days 3-6

Four days' skiing in the Patagonia region.

Day 7

Transfer back to Bariloche Airport and fly up to Mendoza (via Buenos Aires) in the central Lake District region. Met at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 8

Transfer from Mendoza to Las Leñas takes 4-5 hours, either by private vehicle or public ski shuttle bus. Once you arrive in Las Leñas, settle in to your central hotel.

Days 9-14

Six days' skiing in Las Leñas.

Day 15

Transfer to the airport and fly from Malargue to Buenos Aires. You are then transferred to your hotel in the centre of town, for a couple of days exploring the capital. Alternatively, we could take you to the international airport for your flights home.

It all depends quite how much luxury you feel you need (or deserve!) and prices can vary hugely depending on the accommodation selected. As a guide, prices for this itinerary would begin at circa £2,775 per person, which would include accommodation, ski passes, domestic flights, transfers and excursions as featured in the day-by-day itinerary.

This indicative cost does not include international flights from the UK or elsewhere, which Different Snow can also arrange for you. By keeping it all within one package, all your travel arrangements are protected i.e. Different Snow would be responsible for the operation of the entire tailor-made package. If you buy your flights separately, that’s no problem but it then becomes your responsibility to get to and from Argentina at the appointed hour. Different Snow have access to excellent fares on most airlines, at least as good as those you’ll find on the internet.
